吕岳，博士，华东师范大学信息科学技术学院计算机科学技术系教授，博士生导师，系主任，上海市曙光学者。分别于 1990 年和 1993年在浙江大学信息与电子工程学系获得学士和硕士学位，于 2000 年在上海交通大学图像处理与模式识别研究所获得博士学位。 1993 年起在国家邮政局上海研究院从事信函自动分拣系统的研究和开发工作。 2000 年至 2004 年受聘为新加坡国立大学计算机科学系研究员。 2004 年受聘为华东师范大学计算机科学与技术系教授，入选 2005 年度教育部新世纪优秀人才计划和 2005 年上海市曙光人才计划。目前主持承担国家自然科学基金等科研开发项目。发表论文50余篇，授权发明专利2项。担任上海市自动化学会常务理事、模式识别专业委员会副主任，上海市计算机学会理事、普适计算专业委员会副主任、计算机教育专业委员会副主任。
